Who will teach?
A gender balanced and culturally diverse team that includes a core group of experienced teachers from developing, emerging and developed country management institutions and researchers from development organizations, complemented by academics and practitioners from public and private enterprises in the country and the region.
Typical course
A typical program will last for ten days. The content and the approach can be customized to meet specific needs. Recommended options are five additional days for participants to work in teams to develop projects with guidance and a mentoring component that follows up with trainees for one or two years and reports on the outcomes.
Teaching method
The participants will learn through case-based classroom discussions, groupwork, and practical exercises. A core set of cases from West Africa – Ghana, Nigeria and Cote d’Ivoire – and India will be used. Additionally, cases and notes relevant to the audience (from a region or a country) will be developed using publicly available information. More detailed cases can be developed upon request.
Fees
Negotiated, based on customization required. We recommend residential training to encourage team work. Should COVID become a threat again , we can offer training online with a coordinator on the ground.
